“They’re killing my career.” Halep – that the hearing of her doping case was postponed for another month

Two-time Grand Slam champion, former world number one, Romanian tennis player Simona Halep has once again lashed out at the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), which is postponing a hearing on her doping case.

“Tonight I am upset again. ITIA again, for the third time, postponed my hearing for a month! I’ve been waiting for trial since October last year. In December, thanks to the experts, I was able to prove my innocence.

But I am denied the right to appear before the Independent Court. I am not allowed to participate in any tournament for eight months. Obviously I will miss the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. Not to mention losing my ranking points.

They are killing not only my reputation, but also my professional career, and I’m not talking about my psychological state.

This is so disrespectful to me that there are simply no words.

Delayed justice means denial of justice,” Halep wrote on her social media.
