Polka extended their unbeaten streak to eight matches. Sviontek, after losing to Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina at the Australian Open, did not lose a single set to her rivals. She took the title in Doha by outplaying Danielle Collins, Belinda Bencic (withdrawal), Veronica Kudermetova and Jessica Pegula. At competitions in Dubai, Iga defeated Leila Fernandez, Lyudmila Samsonova, Karolina Pliskova (withdrawal), Corey Gauff.
In the final, Iga Sviontek will face either Czech Barbora Krejcikova or American Jessica Pegula.
The total prize fund of the tournament in Dubai was $2,788,468, the winner will receive $454,500.
