Stefanos Tsitsipas is a professional tennis player from Greece. He was born on August 12, 1998, in Athens, Greece, and comes from a family of athletes. His father, Apostolos Tsitsipas, is a tennis coach, and his mother, Julia Apostoli, is a former professional tennis player.
Tsitsipas turned professional in 2016 and quickly made a name for himself on the ATPTour. He won his first ATP title at the 2018 Stockholm Open, defeating Ernests Gulbis in the final. He has since won seven more ATPtitles, including the prestigious ATP Finals in 2019, where he defeated Dominic Thiem in the final.
