Greek tennis player, world number seven Stefanos Tsitsipas made it to the second round of the ATP-500 tournament held in Vienna (Austria).
In the first round match, Tsitsipas, who received the fourth seed, defeated the 99th racket of the world, the representative of Austria, Dominic Thiem, with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 6:4. The meeting lasted 1 hour 58 minutes.
Tsitsipas served nine times, made one double fault on serve and converted one of the four break points he earned. Tim scored three aces, never made a serve mistake and did not use three opportunities to win his opponent’s serve.
For reaching the third round of the tournament, Tsitsipas will compete with the representative of the Czech Republic, Tomas Machac, who made it into the main draw through qualification.
