Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka and Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad-Maya won the doubles final of the WTA-1000 tournament held in Madrid (Spain). The duo defeated the American pair Corey Gauff – Jessica Pegula in straight sets. The match ended with the score 2:0 (6:1, 6:4).
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 6 minutes. During this time, Azarenka and Haddad-Maya completed one ace and converted four out of twelve break points. Gauff and Pegula have one ace and one realized break point out of two. The athletes did not make double faults in this match.
For the Belarusian Azarenka, this is the tenth victory in the women’s doubles, for Beatrice Haddad-Maya – the fifth. This is the first joint victory of tennis players in a duet.
