After a sensational exit from the Australian Open, Swiatek spoke about her problems on the court

Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek spoke about the problems in her game at the Australian Open.

“Of course, I was more stressed than at other tournaments, especially in the first two rounds. But I think some things just didn’t work the way they used to, even though I was working the same way. I feel like I really did everything I could in preseason to improve on some of the things I wanted.

Then I came here and didn’t play naturally anymore. I don’t know, sometimes my step was too late. The response is a little slower. Some other things too. Basically yes, I was just trying to improve it. That was the only thing I focused on. That’s why it wasn’t as natural as usual,” Swiatek said at a press conference.

Let us remind you that Swiatek lost to the 50th racket of the world in the third round to 19-year-old Czech tennis player Linda Noskova.
