The winner of the US Open 2021, British tennis player Emma Raducanu, answered the question about returning to the court.
“I have no idea when I will be back playing, but the goal is certainly to be there for the start of the 2024 season. I trained a lot, but it’s too early to talk about returning. More precisely, we do not yet have an exact date for returning to the court,” Raducanu was quoted as saying by Tennis World USA, citing BBC Radio 4 Today.
Let us remind you that Raducanu has not played since the spring of this year due to injury. The 20-year-old tennis player underwent two surgeries on both hands. The British woman also underwent minor ankle surgery. Because of this, she missed Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.
Earlier it became known that Raducanu could miss the 2024 Olympic Games.
