Spanish tennis player, 22-time Grand Slam winner, former world number one Rafael Nadal will not compete at the upcoming Wimbledon, which will be held from July 1 to 14 in London (UK). This was announced by the former Spanish tennis player, former third racket of the world and finalist of Roland Garros – 2013 David Ferrer.
Ferrer previously confirmed that Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will play together in doubles at the Olympic Games in Paris (France).
Rafael Nadal is a two-time Olympic champion. In 2008, Nadal won the Olympics in singles, and in 2016 he became the champion paired with Mark Lopez. 38-year-old Nadal will play in the fourth Olympics of his career. He won the Grand Slam tournaments 22 times.
