Ruud lost at the start of the tournament in Paris and will leave the top 10 of the ATP rankings for the first time in two years

Three-time finalist of Grand Slam tournaments, eighth racket of the world, Norwegian Casper Ruud was defeated at the start of the Masters series tournament in Paris (France). Because of him, the Norwegian will leave the top 10 of the ATP rankings for the first time in two years.

In the second round match, Ruud (8) lost to the 21st racket of the world, the representative of Argentina, Francisco Serundolo, with a score of 5:7, 4:6. The tennis match lasted 1 hour and 32 minutes. Ruud served five times, made two double faults and converted one break point out of six earned. Serundolo had six aces, two double faults and three converted break points out of five.

Serundolo’s next opponent will be Wimbledon semi-finalist, world number 11, Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz (11).
