On January 3, at the women’s hard court tournament of the WTA-500 category in Brisbane, Australia, the quarterfinal match between the world’s 16th racket, Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva, and the 42nd in the world ranking, Ons Jabeur from Tunisia, ended. Andreeva won in two sets – 6:4, 7:6 (7:2).
The duration of the match was 1 hour 31 minutes. Andreeva served four times aces, made three double faults, and converted four of five break points. Jabeur made two aces with two double faults and won three of the seven break points earned during the match.
